Michael Breese Malone

September 28, 1945-September 14, 2022

Michael Breese Malone, age 76, died September 14, 2022 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Michael was a husband, father, uncle, grandfather & friend.  Michael had a strong foundation in his Methodist faith.  He was born in Montgomery, Alabama and was a graduate of Lanier High School in Montgomery and an avid University of Alabama football fan where he earned his college degree.  He had a long career in the grocery and health & beauty industry.  His career in sales, took him to live all over the country, from Alabama to Georgia to Texas to Kansas, New York and New Jersey and retirement back to Kansas.   Mike, as he is known to his friends, loved golfing, hunting & fishing, antiques and traveling the world.  He was always ready to host the next party and had excellent taste in food & wine.  He made the best southern breakfast that will be missed not only by his family but his lifelong hunting buddies.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, William Breese & Dorothy Fitzgerald, and his sister, Patti Lynn Malone, and his nephew, Kevin Bloodworth.

Michael is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rita and his two daughters, Ashley Malone (Overland Park, KS) and Mallory Malone Rissmiller (Houston, Texas) along with his son-in-law Dr. Brian Rissmiller. He was a proud grandfather to three beloved girls; Lilly(11), Clara(7) & Scarlett(6) Rissmiller.   He is also survived by his nephews & niece, Chuck Bloodworth(Karen), Julie McCoy(Max), and Cass Keramidas(Michelle).
