Wayne served his country in the United States Army. After completing his service, Wayne charted his own path as an entrepreneur, owning and operating his own elevator installation business.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Edith Peart.
He is survived by his step-son, Robert Dickman, and his step-daughter, Terryl Dice.
