With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Pamela Susan "Pam/Pamma" Funk on June 10, 2026, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with brain cancer. She was 62 years old.
Pam was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Through every challenge she faced, she carried herself with grace, courage, and a deep commitment to her family.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband, Mark, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they build a life filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories. She also leaves behind her two children, Chris and Ashley, who were the pride and joy of her life.
Nothing brought Pam greater happiness than her role as "Pamma." She adored her five grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. Whether sharing stories, laughter, hugs, or special memories, being Pamma was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her love, guidance, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her grandchildren for years to come.
Pam will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. She found joy in caring for others and created lasting memories with family and friends that will never be forgotten.
Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy of love, resilience, and devotion remains. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and that the countless lives she touched will carry her memory forward.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Pam at LifeQuest Church, 1400 N. Scott Ave., Belton, MO 64012, on Saturday, June 27, 2026 starting at 3:00pm.
Pam was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Forever in our hearts, always in our memories.
