Michelle Curtis

Michelle Curtis, 72, of Eudora, Kansas, passed away May 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Michelle was born February 28, 1954, the daughter of Charlene (Walker) and Keith Curtis, in Wichita, Kansas. Michelle graduated from Shawnee Mission South where she made many long lasting relationships.

Michelle was employed by the University of Texas State, Health and Human Services Department for 30 years before retiring to Eudora, Kansas. Michelle was a very caring, compassionate and loving woman. She loved spending time with her sewing circle friends and Kansas City family. She donated much of her time to several woman's and men's homeless shelters.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael. She is survived by her sisters Alea Curtis, Donna (John) Bolling, and six nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Jessica, Jeremy, Clifton, Jason, Gregory and their families and children.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Gaye Winter, Scott Wasser, Rob and Susan Curtis with very special thanks to Kelly Curtis for all they did to make Michelle feel loved and cared for in her remaining days.
