Michael Allen Crainshaw

Michael Allen Crainshaw, born on February 18, 1958, in Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on July 15, 2026, in Grandview, Missouri. He was 68 years old.

Michael’s journey began in Kansas City, where he grew up and formed lifelong connections. He completed his education at Shawnee Mission East High School, earning his High School Diploma.

Throughout his life, Michael found joy in the simple pleasures and traditions. He had a special fondness for sports, with a particular passion for baseball. The Kansas City Royals held a unique place in his heart, and he could often be found watching games and cheering for his team.

He is survived by his daughters, Christin Crainshaw and Jennifer Crainshaw. Michael also leaves behind his brother, Larry Crainshaw, and kind sisters-in-law, Nancy Crainshaw, Phyllis Crainshaw, and Joy Crainshaw. The legacy also endures through his two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Crainshaw, his mother, Winona Crainshaw, and his brothers, Jim Crainshaw and Lonnie Crainshaw. Their memories lived on in Michael’s stories, values, and actions.
