Joe Shockey

Joe Shockey, 68, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on January 6, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1957 in Kansas City, MO.

Joe attended Bishop Lillis High School, class of 1975 and went on to CMSU where he graduated in 1980 with a degree in Psychology. He lived in Kansas City his entire life and worked in several different fields throughout his life. Later in life, most of his time was spent taking care of his mother and attending and watching football and baseball games with his closest lifelong friends. Joe also loved to go golfing with his friends, and especially enjoyed the Swope Memorial Golf Course.

Joe was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Wanda Chiavola Shockey.
