Dellann Sanders

Dellann Sanders, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on September 3, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born on April 1, 1954, at Mitchel Air Force Base, New York.

Dellann built a career in retail and worked with Steinmart for 15 years. Through those years, she gave her time and effort to her work with dedication and consistency. She retired in 2019, marking the close of a long season of service.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Cummins, and her mother, Karen Cummins.

Dellann is survived by her life partner of 38 years, Jim Auvigne; by her daughter, Shelly Saltink, and Shelly’s husband, Andy; by her grandchildren, Nathan and Shelby; and by her brother, Andy Cummins, and his wife, Becky. Those who knew and loved Dellann will hold close the place she had in their lives and the family ties that meant so much to her.

She will be remembered with love and gratitude by her family and friends, and her memory will be a lasting presence in the hearts of those who knew her.
