Delbert LeRoy Lininger

Delbert Lininger, 82, of Clearmont, MO passed away July 12, 2025 at Parkdale Manor surrounded by family. He is to be cremated with Assurance Cremation Society of Kansas City, MO. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Delbert was born October 12, 1942 to John and Pearl (Parrish) Lininger in Glenwood, IA. He was raised in Skidmore, MO along with his siblings. Delbert drove semis hauling anything from grain to cattle and hogs, he also worked on the sheriffs department. He had many other jobs before he finally retired. Delbert married Evelyn Deen on November 17, 1969 and have been married for 56 years. They had one son, Scott. Delbert enjoyed fishing, playing cards, being outside, making jokes and being ornery and playing with his grandkids and great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Scott Lininger; brothers, Harley (Sue) Lininger, Kenneth Lininger; sister, Sharon (Randall) Ferguson. He is survived by his wife Evelyn of the home, two granddaughters, Kayla (Chris) Samuels, Shelly (Jeremy) Wisneski, his sister Diane Beason, and four great grandsons, Grayson and Silas Samuels and Waylon and Brandon Wisneski. He also has several nieces and nephews. Along with many friends who were like family.

The family would like to thank the caregivers of Parkdale Manor and Three Rivers Hospice for providing compassionate care in his final days and showing our family compassion through everything.
