He is survived by his cherished family: his sons, Damien Day and Dalton Day; his devoted mother, Judith Day; his sister, Katrina Fry; and his brothers, Kenneth Brown and Lyle Brown, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Daniel also leaves behind his loving fiancée, Elizabeth Romane, whose companionship brought comfort and love during their time together; and his grandmother, Betty Kopp.

Daniel was predeceased by his father, Gerald Day, and his grandfather, George Kopp.
