Collette Cooper

Collette Cooper left this earth on August 3rd, 2022 to join the loves of her life, her husband Dale and their Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.  She lived well and loved well.  Her family & faith were her firm foundation, her hope & joy.  Born in Wichita, she spent her entire earthly life in Kansas.  Preceding her in death are her parents M.R. & Vera Richards and husband Dale. She died as she’d lived, positive, faithful, grateful and surrounded by family.  She is survived by daughter Collette & husband Greg of Leawood, KS – daughter Kelly & husband Steve of Overland Park, KS – son Kris & wife Diane of Fayetteville, AR – daughter Kim & husband Rob of Overland Park, KS – Beloved cousin/sister Kay Goeller of Wichita, KS -- along with 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.  To her family, she was known as Mums.  She’ll be ever remembered for her humor, creativity, confidence, and flair.  Never needing to follow the crowd, Mums expressed herself with fun clothes & accessories, unconventional pets & convertible cars…  She was generous, kind & never met a stranger.  This world will miss her and makes us long to see her again in her heavenly home.  She will be remembered & celebrated with a private family memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, call the people you care about and tell them how much they matter - Matthew 22:36-40
