Brian Emilio Lopez

Brian Emilio Lopez passed away on September 7, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on May 28, 1989, in Los Angeles, California. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted man whose humor and kind spirit left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him.

Brian had a wonderful sense of humor and was always trying to make people laugh. He was known as a peacekeeper, someone who brought calm and kindness into the lives of others. His caring nature and easygoing presence made him a comfort to family and friends, and he will be remembered for the joy he shared so freely.

He found happiness in many simple and meaningful pleasures. Brian enjoyed watching football and proudly rooted for his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. He liked to cook and was especially good at making steak and mashed potatoes. He also enjoyed spending time indoors watching TV and movies, with The Simpsons standing as his favorite show and Star Wars among his favorite films. Brian enjoyed listening to music and had a wide range of genres that he would listen to, from Alternative Rock, to 90’s Hip Hop, to Dance Music.

Brian was very gifted with his words. He was very sharp and witty when he spoke. When he expressed his thoughts during discussions, it became clear just how intelligent he was and how engaged in the conversation he could be.

Above all, Brian’s life was deeply connected to the people he loved. He is survived by his son, Bradley Nesta Lopez; his mother, Lorena Castillo Lopez; his father, German Lopez; his sister, Vanessa Martinez; his brother, Joey Lopez; his nieces and nephews, and all extended family. He had a deep connection with his son, and his nephews Isaac Perez and Noah Martinez. He always worked hard so that he would make them proud. In his entire family’s love for him and in the memories they carry, his presence will continue to be felt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Vox Dei Community, 622 2nd St., Belton Missouri 64012.

Brian Emilio Lopez will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for his laughter, his kindness, and the peaceful spirit he brought to those around him.
