Alice M. Ward

Alice M. Ward, born on October 11, 1941, in Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, in Independence, MO. A woman of remarkable kindness and care, Alice touched the lives of many with her warm spirit and infectious joy.

Alice was known for her love of music, frequently dancing along to her favorite tunes, celebrating life with every rhythm. Her home was often filled with laughter and delight, accompanied by the simple pleasure of snacks and soda. She found great joy in being in the water, and swimming was one of her favorite pastimes.

She was a devoted mother to her two children, Steven (Tana) Ward and Sheila Medlam, who carry on her legacy of love and kindness. Alice was predeceased by her father, Bernhart Harry Miller, and her mother, Mary Ann Singleton, both of whom played significant roles in shaping her compassionate nature.

Alice's laughter, dance, and loving presence will be deeply missed.
